On Wednesday 5th June the whole school went down to Tetsworth Green for the school’s annual Sports Morning. The children took part in lots of different events including long-distance, vortex throws, bean-bag races and sprints. Even the parents took part in an inaugural dad’s race and a mum’s race with Kian’s dad and Jasper’s mum

School Sleepover
It was too wet to go down on the green, but we played games in the playground, completed a quiz in the hall and watched movies – as well as eating and drinking and not going to sleep until the early hours!

Class One have been using bars and numicon to learn about place value.
People Who Help Us
Class One have enjoyed a super term learning all about People Who Help Us. We are very fortunate to have had lots of people come to visit us and talk about their jobs. Laila-Beth’s Godfather came to talk about his job as a Fire Chief. The children became his fire officers for the morning. Evelyn

St George’s Service
Year 1 made shields and sang a song about a knight. Years 2 and 3 wrote stories about Dragons and Years 4 and 5 performed a play about St George. They had adapted the story themselves. Year 6 performed a poem about a dragon in the style of a rap and also led the audience
