Tetsworth win Thame School’s Year 5/6 Boys’ Football Tournament
Tetsworth took part in the Thame School’s Year 5/6 Boys’ Football Tournament at Tetsworth Green on Wednesday 1st May. They qualified out of their group with three wins against Aston Rowant, Barley Hill and John Hampden and a draw against St. Joseph’s. They won the semi-final on penalties against St. Andrew’s after a 0-0 draw
Easter Bonnets

St George’s Service
Year 1 made shields and sang a song about a knight. Years 2 and 3 wrote stories about Dragons and Years 4 and 5 performed a play about St George. They had adapted the story themselves. Year 6 performed a poem about a dragon in the style of a rap and also led the audience
Highclere Castle
Class 3 visited Highclere Castle which was once the home of Lord Carnarvon, who, along with Howard Carter, discovered the tomb of Tutankhamun. We had a very enjoyable day, visiting both the exhibition (where some artefacts were 5,000 years old) and the secret garden.
