The Lord Williams’ Festival of Dance took place on Wednesday 19th June at the Phoenix Studio at Lord Williams’ Lower School. This year Tetsworth was represented by children from Year 2 to 6. On Friday 14th June the whole school turned up for a mammoth penalty shootout to raise money for UNICEF’s Soccer Aid fundraiser. On Friday 7th June, 19 children from Reception to Year 2 represented Tetsworth at the Ignite Sports Multi-Skills Event at Oxford City F.C. Sports Morning
On Wednesday 5th June the whole school went down to Tetsworth Green for the school’s annual Sports Morning. The children took part in lots of different events including long-distance, vortex throws, bean-bag races and sprints. Even the parents took part in an inaugural dad’s race and a mum’s race with Kian’s dad and Jasper’s mum
School Sleepover
It was too wet to go down on the green, but we played games in the playground, completed a quiz in the hall and watched movies – as well as eating and drinking and not going to sleep until the early hours!
