On Tuesday 8th October, 29 children and parents travelled to Oxford Spires Academy to compete in the Oxford City and Thame District Cross Country qualifiers for the Oxfordshire County Finals. Gold Award in Sport
Tetsworth Primary achieved the ‘gold’ award for their participation in sports events for the school year 2018-2019. The Oxfordshire School Games recognised their hard work in representing their primary school on the sports field. The school engaged 95% of Reception to Year 6 in inter-school activities and 100% of their pupils in intra-school activities.
Runners-up in Thame School’s Year 3/4 Football Tournament
The annual Thame School’s Sports Partnership Year 3/4 football tournament was held on Tetsworth Green on Wednesday 26th June. Tetsworth won all of their group games beating St. Joseph’s ‘A’ 5-0, Mill Lane ‘B’ 2-0 and John Hampden ‘A’ 2-0 thanks to goals from Ruby, Emil and Oliver. Soccer Aid
On Friday 14th June the whole school turned up for a mammoth penalty shootout to raise money for UNICEF’s Soccer Aid fundraiser. The children had a special opponent in goal in the shape of Mr. Hankey the school’s headmaster. The children took on penalty each and lots of penalties were saved and scored. All of

On Friday 7th June, 19 children from Reception to Year 2 represented Tetsworth at the Ignite Sports Multi-Skills Event at Oxford City F.C. The children took part in lots of events including javelin, archery, basketball, football and golf. For lots of the children it was their first time representing the school at sport and although

On Wednesday 5th June the whole school went down to Tetsworth Green for the school’s annual Sports Morning. The children took part in lots of different events including long-distance, vortex throws, bean-bag races and sprints.
