Xia Zu, Ryan’s mum came to give the children an assembly on the Chinese New Year on Tuesday 25th January. She explained to the children about how 2022 was the year of the Tiger, what province she came from in China and how the Chinese celebrate the Chinese New Year. Xia also mentioned how her favourite Chinese food was dumplings, favourite Chinese drink was coconut flavoured and how the temperatures in China vary massively!
