On Wednesday 20th July the Year 5 & 6 girls made the trip to Brighton to watch the England women’s team play in the quarter-final of Euro 2022 against Brighton. The girls took a dip in the sea, a stroll down Brighton pier and had fish and chips on the seafront. They then travelled to the Amex Stadium – home to Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. – to watch the game. The game was 1-1 and went to extra-time. England scored the winning goal in the 115th minute and the crowd went wild! Everyone arrived back around 1.30am in the morning but still a superb trip was had by all.
