Cross Country County Qualifiers
On Tuesday 8th October, 29 children and parents travelled to Oxford Spires Academy to compete in the Oxford City and Thame District Cross Country qualifiers for the Oxfordshire County Finals. Unfortunately, we didn’t qualify but there were some great results from some of our runners. Lucy, Alisdair & Natasha all placed in the top 10
Gold Award in Sport
Tetsworth Primary achieved the ‘gold’ award for their participation in sports events for the school year 2018-2019. The Oxfordshire School Games recognised their hard work in representing their primary school on the sports field. The school engaged 95% of Reception to Year 6 in inter-school activities and 100% of their pupils in intra-school activities.
House Captains
Congratulations to our new ‘house captains’ of the school year 2019-2020. The children wrote their own speeches which put in their bid for house captain of their respective houses. Year 3/4 have been dissecting ‘Plants’ in Science. They are learning all of the separate parts of the plant including the stamen, stigma, ovary, ovule, filament, anther, flower and pollen.
