This year the Oxford City & Thame Schools’ Sports Partnership Cross Country Event was different as it was done virtually.
The schools in the partnership had to send in their results via email and Organiser Grant Thomas would collate them together. The Year 3/4 Boys & Girls had to run 1500m and the Year 5/6 Boys and Girls running 2000m.
All the children from Year 1-6 at Tetsworth took part in the event with the best four scores from each race being put forward as the schools’ total. The Year 3/4 Girls managed a combined score that gave them 2nd place out of the seven schools that entered and the Year 3/4 Boys entered a combined score that rewarded them with a 3rd place.
Well done to Clara Wicks, Clementine Ponte, Laila-Beth Marriott and Lottie Fulton-Stranks from the Year 3/4 Girls’ team and Ryan Bearns, James Fulton-Stranks, Jude White and Davi Carvalho of the Year 3/4 Boys’ team.
