After finishing 2nd in the Oxford City and Thame Schools’ Year 5/6 Cross Country County Qualifiers in October, Tetsworth Primary’s 5/6 Girls’ Team attended the Year 5/6 Oxfordshire County Finals on Friday 1st April.
The event was held at Bicester Sports Ground, Chesterton with the other districts of Oxfordshire joining up for the meet. In the race Harmony, Lucy, Natasha and Eliza finished in Tetsworth’s Top Four with their scores being added up to make 102 points.
Overall, this left Tetsworth in bronze medal position and cemented their place as the third best girls’ Year 5/6 Cross Country team in the whole of Oxfordshire.
A big shoutout to Millie, Lana and Iona who also represented Tetsworth in the race and in doing so helped keep the other teams scores as low as possible.
