On a very cold and snowy Tuesday afternoon, Tetsworth entertained Marsh Baldon in their 3rd league game of the Oxford School’s F.A. Manor Cup competition. Marsh Baldon took a 2-0 lead in the wintry conditions, but as the snow poured down Tetsworth fought their way back into a lead of 4-2 at half time thanks to two goals each from Jermaine and Alisdair. As the snow descended their were a number of parents sweeping the lines at half-time to keep the game going. In the second-half Alisdair added two more goals to his tally and in the dying seconds Emil’s trickery saw him through on goal and he coolly finished making the game 7-2. Tetsworth now need to win away at St. John Fisher on Friday 15th February to give themselves a chance of getting to the Manor Cup Finals.
