The children have had a great start to Term 2.
Many of our children enjoyed a Halloween Party and in Literacy wrote about their Halloween Costumes.
Next the children learnt about why we celebrate Bonfire Night. They story mapped The Gunpowder Plot and acted the story out during whole school Assembly. The Year 1 children then wrote out the story and their work is displayed in our classroom. Please come and have a look!
The children have also learnt about Remembrance this term. The Nursery children have made some super clay poppies and the Reception and Year 1 children have produced some beautiful poppy field paintings.
We have enjoyed two Stay and Play sessions this term and the children had a wonderful time with their friends, siblings and parents exploring all of the fun activities on offer in Class One. There was a lot of Physical Development going on as you can see from the photos!
