On Wednesday 2nd February the Thame Schools’ Sports Partnership Year 5/6 Girls’ Football Tournament was held on Tetsworth Green. Five schools attended with seven teams taking part. The girls won their group with three draws and one win with a goal from Harmony Needham. Unfortunately, they lost the semi-final 1-0 to Barley Hill but they did win the third-place play-off against Mill Lane ‘B’ with a goal from Summer Ives. The girls did superbly letting in one goal in over an hour of football – Casey Gascoyne and Iona Green-Reeves were superb in defence. Well done girls, you did your school proud.
